The newScale Service Integration Hub™ provides a standards-based integration platform to interface with and complement other IT and non-IT software applications and legacy systems — allowing you to preserve and extend your existing investments in other third-party systems.

The single-vendor approach of ITSM "suite" vendors simply does not meet the real-world requirements of most IT organizations. Enterprise-wide Service Catalog deployments require integrations with a broad range of third-party systems, enterprise applications, and non-IT tools. With newScale, integrations with these and other systems can be created quickly and easily.

With newScale's graphical integration builder, adapters, form data mashups feature, and Web Services, non-developers can configure "click-through" integrations with third-party systems to automate service delivery tasks. And unlike ITSM suite vendors that don't offer integration paths with earlier versions of their own back-office products, newScale can support integration for the complete range of heterogeneous systems running in your data center (or outside your data center).

newScale has proven integrations with a broad range of back-end tools including the leading data center provisioning, virtualization, service desk, change management, identity management, asset management, CMDB, and e-procurement systems — as well as integrations with portal, single sign-on, enterprise directories, and other tools on the front-end.

For example, integrating data from an HR application, finance system or CMDB to pre-fill a service form improves usability and increases user adoption for a Service Catalog. Whereas other vendors require custom programming for these data integrations, newScale offers a point-and-click interface to quickly deploy the majority of these form integration use-cases — and automatically pre-fill service forms with the required data from external sources.

newScale offers packaged adapter kits for the most commonly deployed IT systems, ranging from the ITSM tools from BMC Remedy and HP to virtualization tools from VMware or public cloud services from Amazon EC2. newScale also provides JSR 168 compliant portlets to enhance the self-service value provided by newScale RequestCenter® — enabling a true user-facing front office for IT, regardless of the mixture of back office systems you have in place.
